Many people don't realize that trees are a great way to provide shade in the summer. This is especially important for those who spend lots of time outside and want to avoid getting sunburned! Trees also make your yard look nicer and help cool down your home with their leaves and branches, keeping it cooler on hot days.

Why reserve landscaping for your outdoors? Bring nature into your indoor space and intimately commune with your choice of plants. Their vibrant colors and scents make for a welcoming environment and soften the concrete and wood of human structures. No need to stop nature at your front door. Unused space can be transformed to become colorful and relaxing while you share your habitat with Mother Nature and her lovely creations and add natural beauty to your home. Utilizing proper planning and the right plant selection will transform your home and add color and scent to your surroundings. Extend your landscape through your living room, bedroom, and beyond.

It's no secret that, in this day and age, the cost of living is skyrocketing. We all know it, but sometimes we need a little reminder to help us stretch our dollars further. If you're looking for some simple ways to get your lawn looking great without breaking the bank, then read on!
The cold winter months can be difficult on even the most meticulously designed and executed landscaping. This makes annual cleanups a necessity to ensure your landscaping looks its best all year round. Whether we are prepping your property for winter or giving it a head start into spring, at Cashman Landscape Management & Design, we spare no effort in our biannual landscape cleanups.

Spring cleanups take place from the first of March until April 15th. Our spring startups help to prevent any lasting damage from the winter and get your property ready for the spring season. You could think of it like giving a fresh makeover for your landscaping to help it really shine in the springtime.

We begin with a full power raking of your lawn in order to remove the thatch that may have developed, while the grass was not regularly tended to. Thatch removal and power raking is an especially important thing to do early on, in the spring to avoid the risk of hot summer weather destroying your lawn later in the year.

And since spring, unfortunately, also means weeds, spring cleanup is also when our team applies pre-emergence herbicide to your plant beds. No need to worry about weeds ruining your perfectly planned garden. With CLMD, the only thing that grows in your landscaping is what you want. While we’re at it, we’ll even remove winter debris and give all your bed lines a fresh hand edging to keep your space looking neat all over.

Fall cleanups are from October 15th November 30th. This service is done with a single goal in mind: ensuring your lawn and garden look their best, both throughout the winter and after winter has ended.

The first step in winter prep is naturally removing fall leaves so that they damage the grass they’ve landed on. We take fall leaf removal seriously, not only using mowers but clearing leaves with our vacuum services as well (in accordance with local cleanup ordinances). Afterward, one final cut and now your property is ready for the winter.
